Pot Hole Surface Repairs

Pot Hole Repairs and Resurfacing on External Areas of Customer Estates.

Potholes can be caused on any road surface type and for many reasons, however the most common types are usually down to the weather, the age of some of original surfaces and the traffic usage on site.

NLS FM Call Out for Emergency Repair.

At one of our clients’ sites, we received an emergency callout with a 24 hour SLA turn around to attend site and repair a group of pothole that had formed in a very key area of site.

Arriving on Site.

With our knowledge of our clients’ estates, along with the knowledge of our operative teams, we attended site with all of the equipment& Materials required to undertake and complete the job. Safety is always the highest priority, and our team quickly set out to cordoning off the area, and managing any potential risk on the job.

Preparation & Repairing the Area.

Our operative teams get started by cutting out the damaged road surface area, and clear the pothole of any water, debris or other materials. From there the area is prepared for new tarmac to be laid into place with specialist bonding materials.

Once the sub base has been laid and compressed down, the layer of new tarmac will then be laid into place, and again compressed down.

Finish off the works.

To ensure not only a secure bond and finish to the repairs, but to also ensure the repair look aesthetically good, the banding layer will be placed into position and will be heated into place.

One the works have set and is ready to be released, all safety barriers and signage will be removed. As always, NLS FM will leave the area of works in a clean and safe condition for the usage of all site users.
