Arial Drone Survey of Industrial Roof Condition & Pest Ingress

When our clients have high level issues on their commercial estates, you had no option on most occasions with out tested access routes, to invest in costly MEWP access, just to obtain initial costs and quotes, however here at NLSFM we utilised our Drone certified operative to undertake an arial survey to provide detailed reports to the client and saving them larger upfront investments.

Reports of Pest Ingress into the Building

After arriving on site and completed all of the required risk assessments, out approved drone operator quickly and safely got into the air and was able to effectively identify where it was the pest was obtained access into the unit.

Next Steps

From here, we where able to conduct detailed arial footage of the pest using the entry point and was also able to obtain all of the information required to ensure that the repair needed can be completed.

Survey of Roof & Building Fabric

Once the Pest control issue was identified, our operator then started with a detailed arial survey of the roof areas of the unit. All the 4K footage enables us to create a detailed report survey and condition report. And in this report, the client has direct once click access to all of the drone footage captured.

Repairs and outcome:

After the produced solution was approved by our client, we were able to complete all of the necessary works to ensure that the building was left free of any pest, and to also ensure that no future pest could obtain access into the unit and continue to cause damage to the client’s assets.
